Wiring e340 floodlight to plug socket

Hi. Can anyone give me some guidance on wiring a e340 floodlight to a mains plug socket in my garage?

I’m in the UK.

I appreciate the best way is a junction box but if I don’t have one, what wire, plug and fuse should I use?
