WIFI access point - does this need a second home hub

Hi. I have a home hub linked to my router at home, and a couple of 2c cameras linked to this.

I recently ran a cat 6 from my router up to the end of my garden to a garden office and installed a WiFi access point.

I am looking to get security up the end of the garden which would be out of range of my router but in range of my WiFi access point.

Would this need a second home hub at this stage. Imagine it would. Or is there a way of adding an additional cam to the house home hub. Thanks for views. Matt

I do have same query… waiting for a response

Hello,
The home hub (HomeBase) and cameras use their own proprietary Wi-Fi signal to connect with each other_your router has nothing to do with that connection, your home router connects to the HomeBase “only” via cat6/ethernet cable or Wi-Fi.
You could try this first. Get a camera in the garden to see if it can connect to the homebase in your home.
If it’s too far for a stable connection then you will need a second homebase connected to your access point just for that camera or cameras.
