When using the S340 SoloCam with the solar panel it comes with, should I be selecting “Battery” or “External Solar Panel” as the power source? The default setting seems to be battery. Should I change it to “External Solar Panel”?
in a perfect world you should set it to external solar panel. however, mine only seem to stay charged and show the solar panel is working when it is set to battery. if you access the power manager for your camera you can see which setting shows the solar panel charging.
Eufy really needs to word that better… As it is somewhat confusing.
Like have it say… Built-in solar panel // Other power source.
External meaning/definition~ Outer Surface, which makes you and I believe it should be set to external because the solar panel is on the outer surface.
