We recently upgraded from our last eufy single camera doorbell to the newest E340 dual Doorbell.
The cameras and ai works fine but the automatic “optimal infrared mode” does not switch to day mode even in bright daylight. The doorbell is below a frontdoor sunroof, but there is only minimal Shadow. If i switch to color nightvision or nightvision off, the normal daylight view looks absolutely fine. Is there any possibility to edit the threshold in which the camera switches from infrared to normal mode? We never had problems with our old doorbell regarding this topic.
Hi, I don’t see a threshold sensitivity setting for the lux like a dusk to dawn floodlight has.
Maybe the light sensor is a bit askewed on the doorbell, like not properly positioned correctly or it’s defective.
Next time it happens shine a bright flashlight onto the doorbell to see if it will shift out of night vision.
