Since most solar powered Eufy camera’s have a USB (C) port and not sure if they are fully wired up or only for power, it would be awesome to get a POE injector to USB for USB networking of the camera.
We have had a massive WiFi Jamming attack here which knocked the camera’s out, and being able to potentially use the Solar based camera’s to both charge battery, as well as network via hardwired network cable (Cat 5e/6/etc) would be awesome.
For Anker/Eufy’s side of development, all that would be needed potentially is a firmware update to those camera’s if they are fully wired to make use of POE injection.
I have used the Ubiquiti POE to USB injector for the purpose of charging, however have not tried the “Solar Power” only setting (instead of Battery Powered), as the climate they are in here is sub-zero (-25c for weeks), meaning batteries won’t charge anyways.
