Unlock the Power of eufy | Explore The Magic of Automatic Locking

Have you ever encountered the following embarrassing situation?

 You’re in a rush. You woke up late for work and are scrambling to get ready. In your panic, as you leave your home trying in vain to secure your tie in place with just one hand, you forget to lock your front door.

:face_with_symbols_over_mouth: You finally arrive at work, only to realize you left your home completely unlocked and vulnerable. Embarrassed and panicking, you make your excuses and head back home, your boss chastising you for wasting time.

Many of us have faced this kind of situation in the past, with our minds racing through a whole manner of terrible situations.

That’s why we’ve fitted our brand-new Smart Lock with Auto-lock, to save you from the embarrassment and anxiety that comes from forgetting to lock your door. :cowboy_hat_face:

What is Auto-Lock?

Autolock is a feature built into our Smart Lock that automatically locks your door when it is closed.:door: It’s quick, secure, and completely automatic, so you’ll never have to worry about leaving your door unlocked ever again.

How Does It Work?

When the built-in sensor detects that your door is in a fixed closed position, it will trigger Smart Lock to automatically lock your door.

Besides, we have an automatic lock protection logic. When the user opens the door for a long time for more than 3 minutes, for the sake of power considerations, it will be automatically locked after 3 minutes.

Troubleshooting Auto-Lock

In case you encounter some problems with Smart Lock’s Auto-Lock feature, here are some simple tips you can use to try and fix the problem:

  • Recalibrate the lock geomagnetism via the eufy Security App after you have closed the door. The setting method can be easily found in “Setting-> Lock calibration”.

I’ve recalibrated a few times, but my issue is that the auto-lock feature will only engage after the 3-minute delay. I have it set to auto-lock after 0.5mins, but the lock always waits 3 minutes. :weary:

It would be nice if we could integrate with SmartThings…No more Eufy products for me until then.

When will auto lock be added… some of the new products seem to get less features

Why my app started to show ads all the time? It was much cleaner before.

the auto lock feature mostly work after 3 minutes dealy even you set it to other delay, it seems to be a bug.

Why do I have to recalibrate my lock almost daily for the auto lock to work again after it randomly just stops working again for no reason?

Automatic lock does not work well. Sometimes it locks even if the door still opens. Sometimes it does not unlock when the door is closed.
Recalibration does not fix the issue. Very annoying.

S230 auto lock request can you update the automatic schedule to offer individual days vs the current setting which is for the entire week. Would like to have different schedules from weekdays and weekend’s or different schedules for everyday

Two questions.

Why we are still using alkaline batteries instead of baterry pack rechargeable battery for the smarlocks?
Why there isn’t a smartlock that can use existing lock and key (for those who rent and can’t change the lock)?
