I currently have the SoloCam E40 hooked up with a solar panel. I was in a rush and didn’t place the solar panel in a ideal location. It probably only gets 1~2 hours of morning sunlight. It’s installed overseas and no one is living there at the moment. So I decided to shut it off to conserve battery. Thinking it should still be charging via solar even when turned off. But I just realized that it doesn’t… The solar panel only charges the battery when the camera is turned on. Is there a setting I could change? Or is that how it supposed to be? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
