The Nest alarm is going away in April of next year. The reason I purchase it to begin with was the sensors. They have motion that you can turn on/off per and lighting for night time pathway lighting. That in combination with the fire detectors that do the same thing is pretty slick. Seems like it would be easy to integrate into a gen 2 sensor. I’m moving away from Nest so if you build it, I will come.
