Is there going to be a patch that will have human detection actually work or partially work? It still detects my dog 99% of the time.
Yep human detection is not perfect. It fails in specific situations depending on the eufy cam you have and well also the lighting conditions. The way understand it is that if it sees a torso with arms its human atleast that’s how it works with my doorbell. My doorbell also seemed to have a hard time picking up people when it was dark so I put a timer on my front porch light for night time and its accurate as long as people reach the light. Or the steps on the front porch. (In other words at about 4 feet away from the camera it accurately detects humans.
However I did notice that during the day it does not capture delivery drivers or mail people very often. In fact its gotten rare nowadays. Not sure if an update broke this or if I fudged up a setting but it used to catch them almost every time.
