HomeBase 3 went offline

My 2 week old HomeBase 3 went offline last night. The LED was solid red this morning.

I power it off and on again, reconnected ethernet, restarted my router, restarted my modem, and removed it from my app. While trying to add it back to the app, it took a long time and eventually I got an error.

I was able to get it working again by using a paperclip to hard reset the device.

Is this a common occurance for this device?
