On July of 2023, I bought an Eufycam 2 pro on Amazon and the model was the T88513D1.
Recently, on November of 2023, I wanted to add a new camera to my installation so I bought a new Eufycam 2 pro on Amazon. I was expecting to have the exact same product as I bought on July, but the model seemed to be different : T8140R. I was really hoping those were the same products. I was a bit disapointed noticing that the T8140R have better features and newer firmware than T88513D1. The T8140R human detection feature seems way better and has also better activity areas definition feature with multiple points rather that just a square.
Why is that ? Why can’t I have the same features on two products that have the exact same name ? Why isn’t it written clearly that there are differences between the two products ? I feel a bit fooled, to be honest…
