Hi, recently installed Eufy Floodlight Cam 2 Pro above garage door. So far at least TWICE the garage door opened by itself, without the use of the remote (no wall plate). I can only think that there is an intermitent interference, since that garage door never opened by itself before.
Did anybody experience something like this, and is there a solution - other than giving up on Eufy.
Most garage doors operate on much lower frequency than Eufy uses. Eufy uses 2.4 Ghz Wifi to talk between devices and the app. Garage doors are typically in the 300-400 Mhz range. Its not very likely that is your issue.
I have had a garge door open by itself before. First time was due to a faulty solder joint on the main board. Second time was someone else in the neighborhood using the same code. Second time all I did was reset the door opener and the remotes and the problem was fixed.
