Feb 2023 bought Eufy home security camera bundle, on sale, which included the Homebase and two S330 solar rechargeable cameras. Due to some renovations I didn’t install the cameras until fall 2023. Everything worked great for about 140 days and one of the cameras would not solar recharge even though there was sufficient sunlight most days. Then the camera went dead. Brought it in the house and fully recharge it but the camera could not be controlled through the app. So removed the device in the app and tried to re-sync it with the homebase. Nothing. No matter what I did it would not re-sync and the led on the camera just kept flashing red then blue every 15 seconds.
Contacted customer service. They said the camera was defective since the purchase date was 2 months past the 1 year warranty even though it said in the app it was only in use for 140 days so it is not eligible for replacement. Now if I want a replacement camera I have to fork out another $300 CDN. Unacceptable.
Moral of the story. Don’t buy Eufy as the camera quality is crap.
