Alexa allows me to create a routine to “lock” the C210, but, it does not allow me to create one to unlock the C210.
Anyone…advice, steps?
Due to the security nature of the smart lock, there is no way to program an Alexa automation to unlock the the C120. When using voice commands, Alexa requests your 5-digit pass code. Alexa has no way to pass that code along to the C120. This only applies to the “open” command and not the close command.
On another note, you do not want your smart lock to potentially receive a false trigger, unlock and leave your property wide open.
The new garage door opener is the same way. You can give it a voice command to open but requires the code. Close is never a problem.
