Chime won’t connect to WiFi

I’m having trouble with my battery doorbell camera with chime. The chime will not connect to my WiFi. I choose my internet, put in password and chime says right away connected but it stays red blinking and the app on my phone keeps trying to connect. Finally it says could not connect (times out). Any suggestions? I also have a TP Link WiFi booster/extender near by so I’m not sure the issue.

I know the thread is old but I’m having the same problem. Has anybody ever answered this question?

I am having the same issue. Internet provider directed all devices to 2.4ghz and chime says connected then fails. I cannot find a solution.
