Hi, I have a 2 unit place and want to be able to arm and sometimes exclude the basement to allow activity without triggering the alarm. is this possible?

Just set up a custom mode and enable the devices you want to exclude or include in that mode. I have a mode that switches off all my cams and sensors in the back of the house when I’m working in that area. Also have one to switch off the devices in my carport when working on the car.
Go to the security tab and select your Homebase then use the +Customize button to create your own mode with the devices you want to include or exclude.
