Auto-Theft Detection FALSE alarm!

Recently, I upgraded the Home Base from 2 to 3. Everything works as Home Base 2 except the Auto-Theft detection. This feature falsely triggered 2 times after using Home Base 3 for less than a month. The latest false trigger was yesterday (10/25/2022). I noticed that there was a software update in 10/23/2022 to the Home Base 3 to “Optimized the Auto-theft Detection feature by adjusting its sensitivity and logic”.

Still the adjustment is not enough to prevent false trigger to happen !!! Home Base 2 had no issue at all. For the time being, I disabled the Auto-theft Detection feature.

Can Eufy fix this issue ASAP ?

Same issue for me. The Homebase sounded the anti-theft alarm three times at 4 am. I observed the camera the third time and there was no tampering. The camera has motion detection on, but did not record any footage.

Now, 2 of my Eufy camera were doing this at random time. I turned off the anti-theft feature on them.

Eufy should revert their algorithm back to the same as Home Base 2.
