TERRIBLE customer service for smart lock issues

My smart lock was having 2 issues right away when I installed it.
The first was that the auto lock feature would turn itself off.
The second was that the app would not detect the lock after the initial launch of the app. So I would have to force close the app each time to connect to the lock.

I re-calibrated, got new batteries, reinstalled the app and everything else that was recommended online. After getting no results I email the customer service (multiple times). They are basically washing their hands clean of these issues because it would bought through a 3rd party vendor. This is THEIR product but they will not help now. What a terrible company and a terrible product. I’ll be returning this lock and getting something more dependable with a company that offers actual support
