instead of using the camera sensor can I buy a secondary one ? Put camera on second story of house but have sensor on ground level , giving you a birds eye view with people on ground setting sensor and camera off to record .

Are you asking for a motion sensor? Because Eufy Security already sells these.

I also would be interested in a secondary outdoor sensor. I have a euphyCam 2 Pro mounted outdoors about 10 feet high, and would like to extend its motion sensing range without buying an additional camera.

Here is a link to a hack I did to make the motion sensor outdoor rated. Its been working almost a year now without a hiccup.

The sensor is still working, now going on 2 years. Haven’t even had to change the battery yet. It may not look pretty but its certainly been reliable.
