Weird issue with smart lock touch & wifi, fingerprint reader stopped working for lock/unlock

Started today, the fingerprint sensor no longer lets me lock/unlock the door. The circle light doesn’t turn on if I tap it or touch it.

HOWEVER, I can still add/record fingerprints and the circle light comes on! So I guess some firmware level bug? It feels like the fingerprint scanner is locked out or something. The number pad still works fine.

Try removing the batteries for 10 second and then reinstalling them and see if that helps

Support is replacing the unit, we tried everything already.

Ok, good to hear you got a resolution and they are replacing the unit. On the plus side you should have a better functioning lock as the newer locks have better internals and firmware.

Im having the same issue and removing the battery for any period of time worked. Any other suggestions?
