Is the USB port waterproof to the remainder of the camera housing? For my outside garage camera, which sees a lot of activity, I’d like to run a USB wire down to a more reachable place and just attach a battery when the cam needs to be recharged.
Hi pallock, I’m not sure. I would assume it is, as the upcoming solar panel has to be connected somewhere 
If I were you, to be sure, warranty-wise, I would ask support if that is compatible. Then you have a clear and official answer and you’re safe to do what you want.
