Turn off motion detection during daylight hours

Is it possible to turn off the motion detection on my doorbell to stop continuous notifications of people walking past?

you don’t specify which eufy video doorbell model you have but if it’s like mine, open the eufy app and at the bottom click on the security tab. then click on the homebase the doorbell camera is connected too. click on the gear shaped icon in the upper right of the mode “home” for example. there you will see each camera connected to the homebase. find your doorbell camera and uncheck the notification icon. you will need to do this for each mode that you don’t want notifications. another option is on the devices screen, find the doorbell camera and click on the 3 dots in the lower right corner (…). click on the settings gear and find a folder labeled “motion detection” and open it. at the top you have the option to toggle motion detection on or off.

Doorbell is an E340 , i havd seen what hoh suggest but thats not setting times fof on and off but just turning motion detection off and then I’d have to turn it on again each dark fall

You need to configure Modes with the options you want then setup a Schedule to switch modes at the time you want.

You can use one of the existing modes (Home or Away) or add a specific mode for nighttime operation then configure each camera with the options ( Notify, Record, or Alarm) you want to happen at that time.
