I just installed my wired doorbell 2k and updated to the latest firmware when prompted in the app during setup. When I try to send audio using the app, either with my own voice or a pre recorded message, the audio gets truncated when played through the doorbell and the connection to the doorbell goes down (the wifi bandwidth signal shows 0 and I get “preparing to play video”). After a few seconds, video is re-established. So far all of this testing has happened while my iPhone is on my home wifi network. Is this a known issue?
Sounds like you have a bad wifi connection. First, try changing the wifi channel. If that doesn’t work you may have to reduce the distance to your router or access point.
