Undoubtedly.
If you are storing on the cloud, there is always a possibility of security breaches.
Local storage on the camera directly (via MicroSD), or on a homebase system is far more secure, and far less likely to be accessed by a 3rd party.
Its impossible to make a fully secure system, but local storage is much more secure then using a cloud storage.
