We had a significant snowfall last week that covered everything in the yard. The camera would not activate when there was movement in the yard, until the sun cast a shadow over part of the yard. Has anyone else had this issue? It seemed that it wouldn’t pick up motion due to the lack of contrast in the yard. Everything was bright white.
Turn your motion detection up to 100, slowly turn it down when you get a false notification and you should be able to get a precise setting for the snow.
Back when I had my Arlo cameras I had the same issue and adjusting the settings for motion detection helped fix it
