I have purchased two of the indoor cams and I am being limited on where I can place them due to the length of the power cord. Can we use any micro usb cable with the supplied adapter? I am trying to mount it in the top corner of my loft without installing an outlet there. Thanks a lot.

I tried it with a third party 15’ cable. No issues whatsoever.
