Homekit Secure Video and 2K indoor camera not working

I recently purchased an Indoor 2K camera, updated firmware and Homekit hub updated all to most recent versions. The camera is added via the Eufy App, connect to Homekit through Eufy, but once connected to homekit it does not allow for homekit secure video recording. It says that “HomePod software needs updating”, but has been.

Prior to that, the video streams and works well from the Eufy app - I get motion notifications from the Eufy app, video shows up in the homekit homescreen, but no Secure video.
