I am using an battery powered doorbell which i have connected to my doorbell wires for power / chargeing. Can i add an extra chime with this setup? So i can also hear the doorbell upstairs even without my phone.

I require this also as currently cannot hear anything upstairs which is very limiting. I have enquired about this but nothing so far. Would be keen to know if they have come up with anything!
You can extend the doorbell wires and add a mechanical chime, providing that the wiring distance isn’t too great. A simpler solution is to use an Echo Dot or an Alexa device that won’t require wiring.
