Does anyone have any success using the pet and activity zone features to train cats to stay off tables?

I’ve tried aluminum foil because cats apparently don’t like the texture. My cat isn’t bothered by foil.

A friend recommended to use double sided tape on the sides of the table as cats don’t like getting their paws sticky. My cat isn’t bothered by stickiness from the tape.

I swear I have the only cat who doesn’t have kryptonite. Has anyone had success training their cat to stay off certain surfaces? If so, what did you do?

My cat doesn’t always trigger the activity zone feature or the camera doesn’t always pick him up for some reason.

Buy a cat tree put it nearby and it will be a happy cat :smiley_cat:

Also a new user here. A coworker says a water spray bottle works well. I thought that was a myth. She also said to sprinkle pepper on to surfaces you don’t want the cat. It agitates them but won’t hurt them so they learn to stay away from that area.
