Can’t bind battery video doorbell to homebase 2

Hi. I am a new user trading to bind video battery doorbell to homebase 2.
if I press sync button I can’t hear a beep but a ding dong. Few seconds later homebase tells me connection not possible.
I restarted the homebase already, running firmware 2.1.2.0

I can’t reset the doorbell also. What can I do?

You can reset the doorbell, just press the sync button for about 10s.
You have to keep the sync button pressed until you hear a beep.
