It would be nice to have the following hooks in Automation:
Sensor action to set a custom security mode. This would be useful if you have something like a door sensor set up as a custom switch hooked up to a physical door or button, it could be configured to set the system to a ‘home’ or ‘away’ mode depending on need, or kids are by the pool and the pool gate needs to be monitored.
‘Vacancy mode’ for a group of motion sensors to set a custom security mode. This is where if, collectively, all motion sensors do not see motion for a configurable time (say, 30min, 1hr, etc.) then you can the system to automatically go into ‘Away’ or a custom mode.
