Just installed the doorbell 2k, connected to the wires of my old doorbell.
I would like to know if it’s possible to manually adjust the duration of the ‘ring’ of my mechanical bell. Now it rings too long, i would like to make it last at least half that time.

I’ve found to get the perfect ding I sometimes have to set the app to digital chime then back to mechanical. The existing house chime then rings as it should.
Sometimes after a few days the chime can revert to sounding extended…I assume like you describe
