2k Doorbell & Byron 776

Hi all, I’ve been looking at switching my doorbell from battery power to wired in and have been looking into the Byron 776 chime and transformer. There are loads of videos online using this chime with the Ring doorbell, but nothing for the Eufy one. The reviews on Amazon seem to say it works, but the 8v output seems low when comparing to what Eufy recommend.

Has anyone successfully used this one? Or can another be recommended in the UK? Ideally I’d like a chime and transformer together if possible.

I expect you have lost interest in this or found out the answer already, but I just wired it to my Byron 776 transformer chime and it charges well, plus the chime works with no modification whatsoever.

Thanks for getting back to me. I read a lot of conflicting advice online, good to know that it will work. I have everything just not connected it all up yet.
